Job Description:

• Implementation of a talent and recruitment programme to attract high calibre staff
• Management and mentoring of QA and Development (JAVA, C++) personnel
• Managing the delivery of regression testing, functional testing, and test automation activities
• Managing development of components of the company’s flagship product
• Establish infrastructure to enable effective software delivery
• Implementation of effective communication processes with foreign clients

Job Requirements:

• 9+ years in a software delivery, project management or program management role
• Management experience in a product development/product vendor environment, delivering software on multiple platforms (Windows, Solaris, Linux)
• Proactive and demonstrates an exceptionally high-level of initiative
• Experience with the following development technologies: GWT, Java Swing, C++ is essential
• Agile development experience. Exposure to Agile planning tools (Rally, VersionOne)
• Exposure to application/infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g. Openview, Mercury, Nimsoft, Nagios, BMC Patrol, Tivoli) is beneficial
• Exposure to financial market systems/protocols (e.g. FIX, Reuters, GL) is beneficial
• Exposure to some of the following middleware and databases is beneficial: Oracle, Sybase, JMS, MQ, TIBCO
• Experience in investment banking and financial exchanges is preferred
• Start-up company experience will be highly regarded

• Experience with Hibernate & Spring Frameworks

Preferred To Have:

• Strong Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Development experience with UML hands-on experience in medium to large scale systems development projects, and of integration and connectivity across a mix of technologies
• Experience using source code maintenance, continuous build and testing tools such as CVS, Subversion, Ant/Maven, CruiseControl and JUnit but required for red Solutions Engineer III and Senior Solutions Engineer)
• Exposure to Agile development practices (e.g. Scrum, Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, Unit Testing) but required for Senior Software Developer
