The Philippine software industry is well positioned for growth. It now seeks to grow its share to up to USD$7-billion by 2020 from the current USD$3-billion. Also, the PSIA (Philippine Software Industry Association) anticipates growth in the number of Filipino software developers from the current 123,000 with 1.5M IT consultants, to reach 207,000 by 2022.
